Scouting in the 21st century offers a wide variety of opportunities and experiences virtually unrivalled by other youth organisations and promotes individual achievement, teamwork and discipline.
The training programme is a progression of training, awards and activities, one that is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect today's modern society whilst keeping sight of its traditional values of over 100 years of Scouting. These innovations help revitalise and invigorate Scouting making it more appealing to even more young people and adults. These adults are all volunteers who have been vetted and received nationally recognised training relevant to the sections and age groups they are working with.
The Scout Association is as such an employer and enforces a safe learning environment for young people and ensures equal opportunities for all through its 'Policy, Organisation And Rules'.
As a Group, our Leaders have a vast array of knowledge and experience and have supported many young people through Scouting and into their adult life, it is a fine achievement and one we are proud of. We hope you will be equally proud of the work that we do.
